SWEET - BOOKS!! DRIVE Arives On 'Columbus Day' As Planned! 'The Books are in the mail'

How cool is that? Now, live from the publisher's dedos:

"Dear Sweet Lorna Dee,

The books arrive in the morning. The unbound copies for the special
binding / boxed copies came on Friday. Those look good. Can't wait to
see the finished copies tomorrow.

Arturo would like you to read and discuss a couple of poems for his
class on Tuesday. If you can tell me which poems you will read, I'll
pass that on to him.

More tomorrow. Lots of hand-work tomorrow, then lots of shipping. I'll
overnight a couple to you, probably arriving on Wednesday.

-- Bryce"

After all that grief I caused him he still calls me "sweet." Sweet. Yes, I know, when it comes to the books, sweet but "exacting." ;-)

It was important to me that the actual artifact arrive on Columbus Day, El Día de la Raza, 10/10/2002 or 10 x 10 x 2 x 5. Sweet! And, singing in the rain in Boulder.

oops, that was "10/10/2005" - although, they are currently stuck in a truck in Dallas & I must be stuck in a funk in the fall of 2002.

Thanks, Eduardo! Do I have your current address? I don't think so. Send me an email & I'll send you one when I get back. (I appreciated that $20 for the copying of the Abecedarian Hay(na)ku poems.) I'm pretty sure Rigoberto's getting his review copy soon.

YEA!
