Who? Susan Tedeschi? Funny, I never took you for a blues man.

Hey, Michael? Why isn't my phone ringing? Are you still here? And if you are, why aren't you here? I even washed my dishes!

But, really good for you to stop by my "home" - yes, this is where I'm always home and where I can always be found.

Now, call me! I'm leaving on the 12 and will be gone for a week. Love & Poetry.

Ah, the cool Southwest Saskatchewan prairie air is beginning its descent. Here, in Swift Current, to paraphrase Rilke, "...Your eyes find it hard to tear themselves.." as the fall colors of autumn are replaced with the long shadows of winter. As Updike wrote, "...Why do we love them, these last days of something/like summer, of freedom to move in few clothes,/though frost has flattened the morning grass.."The winter air displaces with its volume your very breath, but one cannot stop the moments of winter from approaching. The landscape, here, shows how immense the world is, and, the search for silence within the silence lies where it begins, whoever you are..You are always in my thoughts, Michael
