I definitely, definitely, definitely know what you are saying here. Like "intention" is not something you create, but that creates through you in some way. It's always already there through language itself in some sense. Amazing.
It's mine. I put quotation marks around the titles of poems so I can find & archive them later. A poet I really love is Antonio Porchia. For several years now, I've been writing short aphorisms. I use the blog like my open "Franklin Planner" which I use to scribble on, ideas, poems, phone numbers, whole pieces, as they come to me, just like a notebook. Or what I'm about to spout off should you be hanging in my kitchen or dining room: which you & yours have an open invitation to do anytime you're out this Rockie way.
"My Gift is that I'm not beautiful.
My career was never about looks.
It's about health and being in good shape." ~Shirley Maclaine/
For Lalo, because I miss your "¡Ajúa!"

Lorna: I love this quote. Whose is it?

Thanks, Peter

but it came to me, first, as a poem
YES, Mackenzie, yes!
