Hi Lorna,

This is Florencia. Remember me from CU? I live in San Fran now and have a 14--month--old daughter, Kaila Paz. We should get together soon.

Florencia

Linda!!!! As soon as I saw the last name I got excited. I would LOVE to find Jeannie! I was hoping this would happen with the blog. I'll be in touch very soon. If you have Face book, I have a public address and e mail there. I'm going to erase your comment, though, so the 'bots won't spam the address. Otherwise, at mac dot (you know) with my full name run together.

THANK YOU!!! (Dwight's wife?)

Lyle, gracias. Yes, "many worlds are possible, but we're stuck in just this one" (quoting myself, another bummer love poem.) As always, thanks for visiting. And if you're ever out this way (sun's out on the beach!) come visit.

The sun's out on the beach...Mmmmmm.

The beaches here are under six inches of snow. The lakes are frozen over. On one of the lakes today, out on the snow-covered ice, a few people flying kites. (I'm not making that up.)

High temp today was about 20 degrees, though it's dropped sharply, tonight right now it's three below zero, with stiff west wind.

The park board still has signs posted around the lakes warning people that the ice isn't safe to walk on yet, but there are always a few maniacs who'll try anything...

I definitely need to just plan a visit to S.F., connect with a bunch of people I know there. Not sure when yet, maybe sometime this year. But it's on my agenda. Film at 11.
