Wishing I were at the BlogHer conference near my hometurf in Santa Clara, "Valley of the Heart's Delight" at one time. Besides panel with Alisa (who dumped her blog upon returning from the conference (?!) I really wanted to attend a relevant panel on women who blog under their real names—particularly poignant topic seeing as how 3 women's voices vanished into an empty frame of "blog not found" after stalkers, weirdos and just plain rabid guys (and gals) blogged them out. I'd be there were it not for my anniversary, these galleys due at the end of the week (and to the PRINTER'S!) & a birthday coming up this weekend—during the MALCS conference in Berkeley (Ana Castillo presents her play), and little left in the research coffers after purchasing this Rocinante.

Irony irons the way while I stand here, ironing. Not really. But, ask Tillie.
