I recently started my first blog, and have just begun searching for poetry blogs, starting with the about.com site. Given that I hadn't seen any before yours is really exciting to me for starters because your strategy and choices for layout are so close to mine... Which to me is a good thing... And I lived in San Francisco from '87 to '00. Lately I've been trying to decide where to move to in the Spring from Boulder... I'm going to comment on your poetry in your blog later in the course of the day. I love the photo... my blog is http://thecopperceiling.blogspot.com/

You have a Rollieflex! I'm envious.

You probably know that Arbus started out with a Rollieflex (she's one of my favorite photographers). I used to own a Leica M3, but I had to sell it years ago when I was unemployed.

All the best.

Speaking of what passes for beauty, I guess this is a good place to say how much Poets and Writers Magazine gets me pissed off for being obsessed with only commercially photogenic writers, so it can have photogenic pictures in its magazine. Is Poets and Writers ever going to have a picture of writer actually showing the furrows and weight of thought??? Not only would Poe or Baudelaire never appear on their cover, neither would Auden, for example, whose wrinkles were extraordinary. I doubt even Virginia Wolff would have gotten into Poets and Writers. They might as well just fill their magazine with pictures of Paris Hilton and call her a writer; after all since acting is defined by her looks now... I've got a deep socketed glower and a burning stare that says my poetry will undo any superficiality that comes my way.,..

As a sign of gratitude for how my wife was saved from myeloma, i decided to reach out to those still suffering from this.
My wife suffered myeloma in the year 2016 and it was really tough and heartbreaking for me because she was my all and the symptoms were terrible, she always complain of bone pain, and she always have difficulty falling asleep . we tried various therapies prescribed by our neurologist but none could cure her. I searched for a cure and i saw a testimony by someone who was cured and so many other with similar body problem, and they left the contact of this doctor who had the cure to myeloma . I never imagined myeloma has a natural cure not until i contacted him and he assured me my wife will be fine. I got the herbal medication he recommended and my wife used it and in one months time she was fully okay even up till this moment she is so full of life. myeloma has a cure and it is a herbal cure contact the doctor for more info on drwilliams098675@gmail.com on how to get the medication.
